Due to the advantages of such as unique structural features, good chemical inert, more specific surface area, nanotubes combined strong with base, TiO2 nanotubes array has a wide range of functional applications. The research progress on application of TiO2 nanotube arrays in solar cell, sensor, water photoelectrolysis hydrogen generation, photocatalysis and environmental analysis are reviewed.
