铝合金连续铸轧中间包流场的数值模拟及其优化

         

摘要

Numerical simulation and optimization of flow field in tundish were studied based on finite element a-nalysis software FLUENT. The results indicate that setting flow control devices can obviously improve flow situation of Aluminum alloy melting liquid,and can enhance quality of continuous cast-rolling strand. Several different of weir-dam arrangement in the flow control devices were compared. Finally, purification efficiency of aluminum alloy melting liquid is the best when the space between weir and dam is 400mm and the distance is 800mm from the weir to the gate of inlet flow and the distance between weirs is 550mm and the distance between dams is 350mm.%基于有限元分析软件FLUENT对中间包的流场进行了数值模拟研究和优化,结果表明,设置流动控制装置可明显改善铝合金熔液流动状况,有利于提高连续铸轧坯质量.对比了流动控制装置中的几种不同的堰坝布置,当堰与注流口间距为800mm、堰与坝间距为400mm、挡堰相对高度为550mm、挡坝相对高度为350mm时所得铝合金的液体净化效果最佳.
