Liver failure (PHLF) after hepatectomy is a major complication that threatens the life of a patient after partial hepatectomy. It is important to identify the preoperative predictors of PHLF in the form of biochemical parameters and imaging features.The improvement of postoperative patient survival rate is due to the individualized preoperative evaluation, the precise selection of the resected liver volume, and a comprehensive understanding of the pathological and physiological changes that can be expected after surgery.
