Objective:To investigate the characteristics of brain electrical activity mapping in adult absence epilepsy, so as to guide and help the clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods:21 cases of adult absence epilepsy were retrospectively analyzed and compared with children or juvenile absence epilepsy. Results:The brain electrical activity mapping in the adult stage had characteristic changes:3Hz spike slow waves frequency power was typically reduced, the duration of onset in 5-8s subclinical discharge was the main performance, and it was more typical with the increase of age and after the treatment with sodium valproate and the like. Conclu-sions:The characteristics of brain electrical activity mapping has no significant difference among the untreated adult absence epilepsy with childhood, juvenile absence epilepsy;the onset frequency in most adult is less;the spike slow waves frequency after the drug ther-apy can come to 4-5Hz quickly;and it is particularly significant compared with children and adolescents with the increase of age. The characteristics of brain electrical activity mapping in adult absence epilepsy has a certain diagnostic values, and it should pay attention to the reasonable and standard treatment in the clinic for adult absence epilepsy.%目的：探讨脑电地形图在成人失神癫痫中的特点,以便指导和帮助临床诊断和治疗。方法：对工作中遇到的21例成人失神癫痫进行回顾性分析,并与儿童青少年失神癫痫在脑电地形图的特征进行比较。结果：脑电地形图在成人期失神发作特征性改变为：典型的3 Hz棘慢频段功率降低,发作持续时间多以5-8 s亚临床放电为主,随着年龄增长及经丙戊酸钠等药物治疗后尤为典型。结论：未经药物治疗的成人失神与儿童、青少年失神癫痫在脑电地形图的特征上无明显差异；大多数成人期失神发作次数相对较少,成人期失神发作经过药物治疗后的棘慢频率可快至4~5Hz,随着年龄增长较儿童青少年尤为显著,特征性脑电地形图具有一定的诊断价值,临床上应注意对成人失神癫痫发作的合理、规范用药。
