Progressive ischemic stroke( PIS) is an important clinical subtype of acute ischemic stroke . After onset of acute ischemic stroke,abnormal glucose metabolisms including stress hyperglycemia,diabetes, isolated impaired fasting glucose and impaired glucose tolerance ,induce directly or indirectly the deterioration of ischemic stroke and the occurrence of PIS.Here is to make a review of the mechanisms,characteristics and treatment about PIS promoted by different abnormal glucose metabolisms ,with the purpose of improving the recognition on the importance of abnormal glucose metabolism in PIS and better guide the clinical practice .%进展性缺血性脑卒中（ PIS）是急性缺血性卒中的一种重要临床亚型。缺血性卒中发生后的糖代谢异常包括糖尿病、应激性高血糖、空腹血糖受损及糖耐量异常四种类型，不同类型的糖代谢异常直接或间接促进缺血性脑卒中的病情恶化，导致 PIS的发生。该文就不同糖代谢异常促进 PIS发生的作用机制、特点及治疗进行综述，以提高临床医师对糖代谢异常在PIS中重要作用的认识，更好地指导临床工作。
