Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of tension-free hernia repair for inguinal hernia treatment in the elderly and the efficacy of its related complications. Methods 80 cases with inguinal hernia in elderly patient admitted in the hospital during March 2006 to June 2010 were randomized grouped into the experimental group adopting tension-free repair and the control group treated with traditional repair. The therapeutic effect,recurrence and complications of the two groups were compared. Results The treatment time and hospitalization time of the experimental group were obviously lower than that of the control group( P<0.05 ),the occurrence of complications such as infection in the experimental group was obviously less than the control group( P <0. 05 ). Conclusion Tension-free inguinal hernia repair operation, which can significantly reduce relapse and infection after treatment, is an effective treatment of inguinal hernia.%目的 探讨无张力疝修补术对中老年腹股沟斜疝的治疗效果.方法 2006年3月至2010年6月中老年腹股沟斜疝患者80例,随机分为试验组和对照组,试验组采用无张力修补术,对照组采用传统修补术进行治疗.分别对两组患者的治疗效果、复发情况以及相关并发症进行比较.结果 试验组患者治疗时间、住院时间明显低于对照组(P<0.05),试验组患者出现感染等并发症的次数明显少于对照组(P<0.05).结论 无张力修补术可明显降低腹股沟斜疝治疗后复发以及感染,是治疗腹股沟斜疝的一有效方法.
