A resource-oriented workflow engine based on REST is proposed to improve its reusability and its adaptability to web service.First,the entity resources of workflow engine are identified.The boundary and relation of entity resources are defined.The function resources are proposed to implement some complex operations of workflow engine.Then the REST architecture is used to encapsulate all elements and operations of workflow engine.The interface and resolver of resource-oriented workflow engine is designed.The isomerous information converter is put forward to make workflow engine easier to control web service with different architecture.The resource-oriented workflow engine and its supporting environment are achieved.Compared with traditional workflow engine it has a better adaptability to cloud environment and a better elastic to release and reuse all elements of workflow.%为了提高工作流引擎的复用性和对云端Web服务的适应力,设计了一种面向资源的,以REST服务为框架的工作流引擎.首先将工作流要素抽象为实体资源,根据要素关系抽象出实体关系,设计了方法资源以完成引擎中的复杂操作,然后以REST框架将引擎中所有工作流要素和操作封装为资源,统一进行管理和操作,设计了封装后的引擎接口和解析器,设计了异构转换器以解决工作流引擎对于不同格式Web应用的调度.实现了资源化工作流引擎以及其支撑环境,该引擎与传统工作流引擎相比,能够更好地适应云环境,能够更灵活地发布和复用工作流要素.
