The cheap and full featured Voice and Video over IP has become an important method of enterprise communication, which eventually willchange the whole telecommunication situation. But security, the dominant one among various difficulties, has limited the development of VoIP. This paper investigated the nowadays research situation and some proposals which contribute VoIP security. Based on that work, a VoIP security mechanism based on SOC and image authentication has been proposed. The mechanism ensures the VoIP endpoint security from the root which can be applied to different VoIP use, especially for enterprise communication.%基于IP的语音和视频通信(VoIP)以其低成本和极为丰富的应用,已经成为当今企业级通信的重要手段,并终将改变电信运营的面貌.然而安全性问题却始终是制约VoIP发展的最重要问题之一.考察了VoIP安全领域的研究现状,分析了一些重要的研究成果对提高VoIP安全性所作出的贡献,在此基础上提出了一种基于安全的片上系统(System On Chip)和系统验证的VoIP安全机制.该机制从“安全根”出发,以自底向上的方式保证了VoIP终端的安全性,对各种VoIP应用,特别是对企业级通信有很好的参考价值.
