The quality evaluation of traditional Chinese medicinal materials (TCMM) started from the ancient times,and the formulation of commodity specification and grade of TCMM,which is an important reference index to the quality evaluation of TCMM,experienced a long history.Commodity specification and grade of TCMM has been improved and deepened as the development of different ages and it has been changed in the new historical background simultaneously.Aiming at providing reference for the re-establishment of criteria specification and grade of TCMM in the new period of time,and for the research of the quality evaluation of the TCMM,systematical pectination of evaluation of TCMM development process was made by generalizing and summarizing of ancient literatures.This process was divided into 7 periods:bourgeon,initial formation,deepening cognition,maturation,expansion,succession and transition.%中药材规格等级的形成历经漫长的历史发展过程,对药材品质的评价自古就有,并随时代的发展而逐步得到深化与完善,同时在新的时代背景下又出现了转变.本文通过对各个不同历史时期的文献进行系统的整理归纳与总结,对中药材品质评价的历史沿革进行了系统的梳理,将其过程分为萌芽期、初步形成期、深化认识期、成熟期、发展期、继承与转变期,以期为深入开展中药材的品质评价和规格等级标准的重新制定等方面提供参考.
