As a new construction technology,rectangular pipe jacking technology was currently widely used in tunneling construction of underground pedestrian passageway for urban center. During underpass rectangle jacking in Nanjing Shuiximen Street, it encountered obstacles, which resulted in the damage of pipe jacking machine cutterhead.
