Transport industry is the biggest energy-consumer in China,as road transport energy consumption accounts for 28% of domestic refined oil consumption in 2007.So strengthening energy conservation and emission reduction of transportation industry,especially those of road transportation,is the inevitable trend in order to build a resource-conserving and environment-friendly transportation industry,and is also an important measure to implement the scientific outlook on development and construct harmonious traffic.Focused on the transport situation of Suzhou city,this paper analyzes the current conditions and existing problems in practicing energy conservation and emissions reduction of road transport,and also puts forward suggestions on how to deepen and further the work of energy conservation and emissions reduction.%交通运输业是国家的能源消耗大户,2007年道路运输能耗就占我国成品油消费量的28%。加强交通行业尤其是道路运输业的节能减排工作是建设资源节约型、环境友好型交通行业的必然要求,是贯彻落实科学发展观,构建和谐交通的重要举措。该文以苏州市区为例分析了道路运输节能减排工作的现状和存在问题,并就深化节能减排工作提出了建议。
