随着绿道理论研究的不断深入和绿道网络实践的广泛应用，基于生态保护理念下的绿道网络对于改善和优化城市生态格局方面的重要功能被越来越多的国家和城市所关注。本文以苏州为例，从构成水网城市的生态基底、自然骨架和生境斑块不同方面对水网城市的自然生态环境特征进行分析，并从改善城市生态系统、优化城市空间结构、提高城市的宜居性三方面总结了绿道网络对于水网城市可持续发展的重要意义。在此基础上，从城市的宏观、中观、以及微观不同层面系统地提出构建苏州绿道网络所面对的挑战和问题，并针对不同层面的规划目标提出应对策略和建设重点，为绿道网络在水网城市的实践提供理论基础和实践指导。%With the further development of the greenway theoretical studies and the practical application of greenway networks, more and more countries and cities pay greater attention on the important functions in improving and optimizing cities’ ecological patterns of greenway networks based on the concept of ecological protection. The paper centered on Suzhou, analyzing the ecological environment characteristics of cities with abundant water systems on the basic composition of the ecology, the natural structure and the natural habitats, summarizing the signiifcant meanings of greenway networks for those cities’ sustainable development in the improvement of urban ecosystem, the optimization of urban spatial structure and the advancement of city livability. Afterwards, challenges and problems for Suzhou greenway networks’ constructions are put forward in different systems on macro-level, meso-level and micro-level. Countermeasures and key points in constructions will be proposed in allusion to these different levels so as to provide theoretical bases and practical guidance for the application of greenway networks in cities with abundant water systems.
