On the base of network investigation and literature research to 30 college and university libraries awarded the title"National reading demonstration base" by the China Library Society in the past ten years, this paper analyzes the typical and characteristic from four aspects such as emphasis on top-level design, extensive application of new technologies, moving to reading society gradually and cultivation of reading promotion people in action, hoping to provide a useful reference for college and university libraries in improving and promoting national reading in depth.%通过对中国图书馆学会近十年评选授予“全民阅读示范基地”称号的30家高校图书馆的网络调查和文献调研，论文从重视筹划顶层设计、广泛应用新技术、逐步走向阅读社会、阅读推广人培育在行动等四个方面，整理分析出高校图书馆开展全民阅读活动的典型及特征，为促进高校图书馆提高和深入推广全民阅读工作提供有益借鉴和参考。
