Joseph Conrad was a Polish novelist who wrote in English after settling in England.Conrad was regarded as one of the greatest novelists in English,though he did not speak the language fluently until he was in his twenties.Conrad drew extensively from his experience as a seaman in Africa and came up with Heart of Darkness which explores the evil of colonization and darkness of human nature.
