双官能团有机改性蒙脱石的制备及性能

         

摘要

在常温和80℃下分别采用超声波和高速剪切两种分散手段对新疆某矿天然膨润土进行湿法钠化、提纯,得到制备钠基蒙脱石(NaMMT)的适宜工艺条件;再以十六烷基三甲基溴化铵(CTABr)和聚乙二醇(PEG)对NaMMT进行插层处理制备出双官能团有机改性蒙脱石(BFOMMT),并采用XRD、TG-DSC和FTIR等测试方法对BFOMMT的结构与性能进行测试与表征,结果显示其中插入蒙脱石层间的PEG分子约占质量的10.54%,CTA+约占质量的7.73%,蒙脱石层间距明显增大,由1.248nm增至3.044nm.%Some natural bentonite from Xinjiang was sodium-treated and purified through ultrasonic dispersion methods and high-speed-shear dispersion methods respectively, at the different temperature(room temperature and 80℃) by wetting technology. The process condition of sodium montmodllonite (NaMMT) was found as high-speed-shear dispersion methods at 80℃. The bifunctional organo-modified montmorillonite (BFOMMT) was prepared by intercalation reaction using polyethylene glycol (PEG) and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTABr) as intercalating agents. The microstructure and properties were investigated by XRD, FTIR, DSC and TGA/DTG, respectively. The results indicate that 10.54 percent for PEG chains and 7.73 percent for CTA+ are efficienly intercalated into silicate layers, increasing the interlayer spacing from 1.248nm to 3.044nm.
