The mass attenuation coefficients of different minerals are calculated by using MC method simulate X-ray transmission,the mass attenuation coefficient of different rock samples is also calculated and then determining the mineral content. The calculation model of X-ray transmission of single minerals is established using MC method, the mass attenuation coefficient of different kinds of minerals is calculated and compared with the theoretical value acquired by XCOM program,the results indicate that MC method can be used to simulate X-ray transmission to calculate the mass attenuation coefficient. The total mass attenuation coefficient of the rock samples is obtained, and the mineral content is calculated, the error of the calculated and the actual mineral content is small,so the mass attenuation coefficient can be used to determine the mineral content of the rock sample.%利用MC法模拟X射线透射计算出不同矿物的质量衰减系数,并模拟计算出不同岩石样品的质量衰减系数进而确定矿物含量.利用MC建立单矿物X射线透射计算模型,模拟计算了不同矿物的质量衰减系数,并与利用XCOM程序计算得到的理论值进行对比,表明可利用MC法模拟X射线透射来计算质量衰减系数.利用MC法得到岩石样品的总质量衰减系数,进而计算出矿物含量,且与实际矿物含量的绝对误差值较小,即可以利用质量衰减系数来确定岩石样品中的矿物含量.
