校正PET图像上病灶SUV值的研究

         

摘要

Quantitative analysis is the main advantage of PET. Because of the influence of the partial vol-ume effects (PVE) the quantitative parameters is underestimated or overestimated. In the study the PVE correction was investigated to set up a method for the lesions standard uptake value (SUV) correction in PET images. Methods. According to the principle causing PVE, the relationships among the maximum SUV on images, the true hot lesion's size and the true SUV were analyzed based on a large of simulate experiment results. From the relationship the corrected SUV were formulated with the maximum value in images. It was called the maximum value correction. Then the accuracy of the correction method was e-valuated with the hot lesion phantom PET imaging study. Results: The corrected SUV formula based on the maximum SUV in the image was obtained. For the phantom study, the lesions' SUV were corrected in the method proposed in this study. The results showed that the accuracy of the corrected SUV was im-proved, spatially for small lesions. The accuracy of the corrected SUV was 53.55%, 54.17% and 50. 37%, 68.52% higher than that of the maximum SUV in images for the hot lesions with diameters 4. 7mm, 3mm in the images with the system resolutions 7.8mm and 4.8mm. Conclusions: The maximum value correction, a method for PVE correction, was proposed. The lesion's SUV could be corrected sim-ply and fast with it.%进行定量分析是PET技术重要的优势,但由于部分容积效应(PVE)的影响,使图像定量值失真.本研究建立一种校正PET图像上病灶标准摄取值(SUV)的方法.基于PET图像PVE形成原理及模拟实验,分析病灶图像上最大SUV与病灶真实大小、病灶真实SUV之间的关系,建立由图像上最大值校正SUV的方法,称之为最大值校正法.并通过PET模型实验,对建立的方法进行验证.结果:①最大值校正法:建立了用图像上病灶SUV最大值计算SUV校正值的公式.②实验验证:对不同大小的病灶,其SUV均得到了一定程度的校正,尤其对小于分辨率的病灶(4.7mm、3mm),校正效果更显著,SUV校正值的准确度提高了53.55%、54.17%和50.37%、68.52%.结论:建立了一种简单校正PET图像上病灶SUV的方法--最大值校正法.
