This paper propose a new design method and optimization strategy for a compact cascaded 1 × N optical power splitter.The splitter consists of N-1 1 × 2 splitter unit-cells connected by bent waveguides,cell-output connection is achieved by two joint waveguide bends.An evolutionary algorithm is used for structure optimization to minimize the device length to facilitate integration.BPM simulation results show that the device footprint and insertion loss are both reduced compared with a traditional optical power splitter design.%提出一种紧密级联型1×N光功率分配器的设计方案.该光功率分配器由N-1个1×2光功率分配器单元级联构成,相邻单元之间以单段圆弧波导衔接,末级单元与光纤接口间以两段圆弧衔接.通过采用遗传算法对结构参数进行优化,使得器件总长度最小,提高了集成度.BPM仿真结果表明,与传统功率分配器相比,该功率分配器的尺寸和插入损耗均较大减小.
