As an example, a PAL with 2. 5 m-1 addition is calculated by MatLab to obtain lens parameters, theoretical spherical and cylinder power. Import lens parameters into Zemax and get spherical power and cylinder power to compare with the theoretical ones to illustrate that Zemax can evaluate PAL more accurately and completely.
