在佛山植物园建设前，对12536名市民进行了关于佛山植物园建设的问卷调查。主要对在佛山市建设植物园是否同意、意义认知、去植物园目的、选址考虑因素、具体选址、功能定位、占地面积、种植的植物种类等市民意愿进行了分析。结果表明：佛山市的大多数市民支持植物园建设；市民对植物园功能、种植种类具有多元化需求；佛山市林业科学研究所是佛山植物园建设的首选地。%There were 12 536 people involved in the survey about the construction of Foshan botanic garden before the project started .Items in the survey were mainly about the construction willingness of citizens ,their awareness of its significance ,purpose for visit ,factors to be considered for the location ,specific location ,function orientation ,covering area and plant species to be cultivated .The analyzed results showed that majority residents supported the idea to construct the garden with the diversified demands for garden function and kinds of planting ,and the preferred district for construction was at location of Foshan Municipal Forestry Research Institute .
