In order to more effectively improve the efficiency of software testing, fault tree analysis was introduced into software testing. The method on constructing fault tree model and an arithmetic on minimum cut sets were presented. The quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis about fault tree model were discussed and the result was used in software testing practice.
