College ideological and political theory course is the main channel of ideological and political education for college students, as well as a major way to cultivate college students' cor-rect outlook on the world, life and values. It reflects the socialist direction of running school and the basic task of moral education. However, there remain various problems in the current ideologi-cal and political theory course teaching in private colleges, so the writer makes some reflections on improving the situation.%高校思想政治理论课是对大学生进行思想政治教育的主渠道，是帮助大学生树立正确的世界观、人生观、价值观的重要途径，体现着社会主义办学方向，体现着立德树人的根本任务。当前，民办高校在思想政治理论课教学方面还存在不少问题，笔者就加强民办高校思想政治理论课教学进行了一些思考。
