This paper first elaborated the connotation of ideologi-cal and political construction in higher vocational medical col-leges, and then analyzed the factors influencing it from the soci-ety, college and students, and finally, proposed pertinent sugges-tions based on the shortcomings of the current higher vocational medical colleges, with the aim to explore the new directions of ideological and political construction in higher vocational medical colleges, and make ideological construction more appealing and penetrating.%本文首先阐述了高职医学院思想政治建设的内涵，然后从社会、学校和学生三个方面，分析了影响高职医学院思想政治建设的因素，最后，针对于当前高职医学院不足提出了针对性的建议，其目的是为了探索高职医学院思想政治建设的新方向，使得思想建设更具有感染力和穿透力。
