Independent colleges, as a new school form, has achieved rapid development in China, and the teaching manage-ment methods and modes are different from those in traditional colleges. Based on summarizing the characteristics of students, teachers and teaching in independent colleges, this paper pro-poses some ways of improving the teaching management in inde-pendent colleges.%独立学院作为一种新的办学形式在我国已经得到迅速发展，它的教学管理方法和模式有别于传统高校。本文在总结独立学院的学生、教师以及教学特点的基础上对独立学院教学管理的改进提出了一些思路。
