格莱斯的会话合作原则及其四准则不仅适合人类口语交际,也适合翻译.翻译也是一种"会话",也应当遵守格莱斯的会话合作原则.根据会话合作原则的四准则和政治文献的特点,作者认为在翻译政治文献过程中可采用选词法、诠释法、减译法、增译法、轻化法、直译加注法、意译、借词法、创造性翻译法等几种翻译方法.%H.P.Grice's Cooperative Principles for spoken communication is applicable to translation as well as conversation. Translation is a special form of conversation,which should follow Grice's Cooperative Principles with four maxims. According to the four maxims of Cooperative Principles and the characteristics of political documents,the author aims at approving that the translators can apply a set of proper techniques to the translation of political documents,such as word selection,explanatory translation, omission, addition, downplaying, literal translation plus annotation, interpretation,loanword,and creative translation.
