The strategy of innovation-oriented city construction of Chengdu and the needs for science popularization were studied in this paper. The basic condition and characteristics of science popularization in Chengdu were analyzed to put forward suggestions for policy-making.%对成都市实施创新驱动发展战略，加快创新型城市建设的科普需求进行了研究，并对成都市的科普工作基础和特点做了分析，提出了创新型城市建设的科普政策思路。
