Since the "Twelve Five year plan" for western development, the construction of infrastructure in the western region has made considerable progress. This paper reviewed the experience in infrastructure construction and put forward suggestions as follows: Strengthening comprehensive transportation, promoting diversification of investment and financing system reform, speeding railway construction, promoting aviation industrial, encouraging information consumption, and improving information technology penetration.%西部大开发“十二五”规划实施两年来，西部地区的基础设施建设有了长足发展，取得了巨大成就，为西部大开发和全面建设实现小康社会奠定了坚实基础。本文回顾总结西部大开发“十二五”规划两年多来的基础设施建设经验，提出加快基础设施建设的建议：加强综合交通建设，推进投融资体制多元化改革，努力实现基础设施建设与生态保护并重，加快铁路项目梳理，解决好政企分开后面临的新问题；促进航空经济产业链，发展适航机型，优化空域结构；鼓励信息消费，提高信息化渗透力。
