The subsurface drainage plastic pipes were buried according to the designed depth of 1.2 m and 1.4 m and the width of 10 m, 15 m and 20 m in typical coastal saline soil plots in Jiangsu Province. The effects on decreasing waterlogging and desalination were mainly detected in the flood season (from July to Sep-tember). The waterlogging was significantly reduced by burying subsurface pipes at 10 m of width, but there were no significant differences compared to the treatment with 15 m of width. The effect of subsurface pipes buried at 1.4 m of depth was better than that at 1.2 m of depth when the buried width was 10m, but no sig-nificant differences were found between the different buried depth when the buried width was and higher than 15 m. The effects of subsurface pipe at 1.4 m of depth on desalination were more obvious than that at 1.2 m of depth. Based on the synthetical results of the experiment and the constructing and maintaining costs, the subsurface pipes buried with 15 m of wide and 1.4 m of depth were recommended as the optimal parameters for waterlogging controlling and desalination in coastal saline soil in Jiangsu Province.%在江苏省滨海盐土按不同埋深和间距埋设地下暗管,其降渍、脱盐作用主要表现在丰水期(7 ~9月)内,在试验范围内,10 m间距暗管的降渍效果最显著,但与15 m间距暗管的脱盐效果相差不明显;在较小间距( 10 m)时,1.4m埋深暗管的降渍效果优于1.2m埋深,埋设间距≥15 m后,埋深对暗管降渍效果无明显影响,而在所有埋设间距处理中,1.4m埋深暗管的脱盐效果均优于1.2m埋深.综合比较分析各相关试验结果,并考虑暗管埋设的初期投资和后期维护成本,推荐间距15 m、埋深1.4m为江苏滨海盐土降渍脱盐的地下暗管工程最佳布设参数.
