1,10 -Phenanthroline-5 ,6 -dione was synthesized with 1,10-phenanthroline hydrate, concentrated sulfuric acid, potassium bromide, concentrated nitric acid and so on. Its structure was characterized by MP, IR, and elemental analysis. Its herbicidal activity against Echinochloa arusgalli (L. ) Beauv and Lagopsis supina was studied by the agar mix medicine method. The results showed that the inhibition effect of 1,10-phenanthroline -5,6 - dione on the root and stem of Lagopsis supina was nearly 100% at 0. 0625 ~ 1.000 mg/ml, and its inhibition effect on Echinochloa arusgalli increased with the increase of its concentration, which was more than 80% when its concentration was larger than or equal to 0. 25 mg/ml.%以菲咯啉、浓硫酸、溴化钾、浓硝酸等为原料,合成了1,10-菲咯啉-5,6-二酮.其结构经熔点、红外光谱、元素分析进行了确证.采用琼脂混药法研究了1,10-菲咯啉-5,6-二酮对稗草和夏至草的除草活性.结果表明:1,10-菲咯啉-5,6-二酮在0.0625~1 mg/ml 5种试验浓度下,对夏至草根、茎的抑制率接近100%;对稗草的抑制效果则随浓度的升高有所增强,当浓度大于或等于0.25 mg/ml时,对稗草的抑制率达80%以上.
