With the methods of literature,video observation,expert interview and mathematical statistics,it studied the offensive and defensive ability of the center players of the men ’s basketball youth matches in the 12th National Games. The results have showed that the young center players’physical condition is relatively good;Times of shooting after receiving the ball is more than that of passes,but assists ability is poor;Long shooting ability is weak and the accuracy of free throw is generally not high;Each team center is more helpful in rebounding. Youth center player’s defensive ability is generally weak.%通过文献资料、录像观察、专家访谈、数理统计等方法，对第十二届运会男子篮球青年组比赛中锋球员的攻防能力进行研究。结果表明：青年组球员的身体条件较为优秀；中锋球员在接球后选择投篮的次数大于传球的次数，助攻能力差；中锋得分作用大的球队的成绩普遍较好；中锋队员投篮出手次数偏低，远距离的投篮能力较弱，罚球命中率普遍不高；各支球队中锋队员的抢篮板球的作用较大；青年组中锋队员的防守能力普遍较弱。
