Taking typology theory written by Rossi oAldo in 1966 of City Architecture,through understanding Rossi's theory,the paper analyzes specific conditions of Lanzhou city,shows Rossi's rational and meaningful theories and architectural language,and finally points out that: architectural prototype is gradually renovated and emphasized,which is not from functional development but from continuous form development.While the typology is internal power of form developing.%以阿尔多·罗西1966年著写的《城市建筑学》的"类型学"为理论基础,通过对罗西理论的回顾理解,分析了兰州市的具体情况,展示了罗西充满理性与意义的理论及建筑语言,指出建筑物的原型被不断地重新加以强调,它不是从功能发展而来,而是从形式不断发展而来的,而类型就是形式产生发展的内在动力.
