According to existing disadvantages of present video monitoring system detection method,this paper put forward the thought to video monitoring system detection software development,elaborated the technical problems and difficulties of software research and development,deter-mined the overall technical route of detection software,and discussed its innovation points and future improvement direction,in order to improve the technology level of video monitoring system.%针对目前视频监控系统检测方法存在的弊端，提出了开发用于视频监控系统检测软件的思路，阐述了软件研发中需解决的技术问题和难点，确定了检测软件的总体技术路线，并对其创新点及未来的改进方向进行了探讨，以提高视频监控系统的检测技术水平。
