基于岩土工程勘察报告审查中场地类别划分方面存在的问题，对场地、覆盖层、场地土类型等概念进行了剖析，分析了剪切波速测量、覆盖层厚度确定中存在的问题及其原因，并针对山区场地的特点，提出了山区建筑场地类别判定的合理化建议。%Based on some problems found in building site classification while reviewing geotechnical engineering investigation report. The con-cept of the site,covering layer,site soil type has been carried on the analysis. Some problems and causes existing in measuring the shear wave velocity and determining covering layer thickness are analyzed. And according to the characteristics of mountainous site,authors put forward some reasonable suggestions to determine building site classification.
