This paper introduced the topography and rock characteristics of a open-air mine rock high slope,elaborated the deformation character-istics and reasons of landslide,using ANSYS finite element software made three-dimensional numerical simulation to the rock high slope,analyzed the slope stability,had great significance to research the geological conditions of slope stability.%介绍了某露天矿坑岩质高边坡的地形地貌及岩石特性，阐述了滑坡体的变形特征及原因，采用ANSYS有限元软件对该岩质高边坡进行了三维数值模拟，分析了边坡的稳定性，对研究同地质条件边坡的稳定性具有一定意义。
