Connecting with an engineering example,for the lateral amplitude of vibration of railway bridge go beyond the limit,from strengthening the lateral stiffness of pier,reinforcement method is presented. To improve the lateral stiffness of pier,reduce the lateral amplitude of vibration of bridge,by the post test,it solves the problem in a certain extent.%结合工程实例，针对桥梁横向振幅超限的原因，从加强桥墩横向刚度方面提出了加固方案，提高桥墩横向刚度，减小桥梁横向振幅，经加固后测试，该方案在一定程度上解决了桥梁横向振幅超限的问题。
