According to the features for the thermal power plant, that is large engineering volume, complicated equipment and pipelines, various involved construction units, and difficulties of refined management, the paper points out the BIM technique in the engineering construction man-agement of the thermal power plant can be applied in promoting the management efficiency and management of programs, and explores the imple-mentation schemes including the communication of participants, progress management and cost management in the thermal power plant construc-tion program based on BIM technique.%针对火力发电厂施工工程量大、设备和管线复杂、项目参与单位多、精细化管理难度高等特点，提出将BIM技术应用到火力发电厂的工程施工管理中将会大幅提高项目的管理效率和管理水平，探讨了基于BIM技术的Revit软件在火电厂建设项目的参与方沟通、进度管理和成本管理等方面的具体实施方案。
