This paper introduced the digital image segmentation method of asphalt mixture based on region growing algorithm,programmed and implemented the segmentation using Matlab tool,segmented the gained digital image,and compared the image after segmentation and segmenta-tion image effect using OTSU method,gained the application scope of various methods,for reference.%介绍了基于区域生长算法的沥青混合料数字图像分割方法，在此基础上，采用Matlab工具编制实现了分割的程序，对获取的数字图像进行了分割，并将分割之后的图像与利用OTSU方法分割的图像效果进行了对比，得到了各种方法的适用范围，以供参考。
