The practical design method of EBFs is discussed with reference to the AISC 341—05 and GB 50010—2010 Code for Seismic Design of Buildings. This design method is focused on the design of links,stiffeners distribution type,columns,braces and beams outside of the links. It is expected to provide the theoretical bases and practical design method for the designers.
