Introduces traditional wood architecture and western ancient stone architecture,explores their styles. Starting from aspects of cultural connotation and view of world,it analyzes differences of eastern and western architecture in aspect of design concept,and finally points out that:it is important for modern architecture design to inherit cultural tradition and design concept,with a view to create special architecture style.%对木结构的中国传统建筑及以石材为主的西方古代建筑进行了介绍，探讨了两种建筑的形式，并从文化内涵、世界观的角度入手，深入分析了中西方建筑在设计思维上的差异，指出在现代建筑设计中，要注重文化传统和设计思维的传承，以营造出更具特色的建筑形式。
