This paper introduced the common diseases types in sub-grade widening, analyzed the forming mechanism of sub-grade widening engi-neering diseases, put forward the method using the geo-grid to make reinforcement treatment to new and old sub-grade combination parts, and re-searched its design and construction quality control, pointed out that the technology had significantly effect to improve the new and old sub-grade bearing capacity, was an effective method to reduce uneven settlement.%介绍了路基拓宽中常见的病害类型，分析了路基拓宽工程病害的形成机理，提出了采用土工格栅对新老路基结合部位进行加筋处治的方法，并对其设计与施工质量控制进行了研究，指出该技术对提高新老路基承载力效果显著，是一种减少不均匀沉降的有效方法。
