介绍了以太网的发展状况，分析了以太网冗余性、开放性、扩展性和可靠性的特点，在此基础上，详细论述了工业以太网在火电厂中的应用情况，以太网在全厂辅助车间监控系统及水控制系统中的应用，极大地提高了电厂的自动化水平，取得了良好的效果。%This paper introduced the development situation of ethernet, analysed the redundancy, openness, expansion and reliability characteristics of ethernet. On this foundation, discussed in detail the application situation of industrial ethernet in power plant. The application of ethernet in auxiliary workshop supervisory system and water control system, greatly improved the automation level of power plant, and achieved good results.
