Starting from the cultural peculiarity of Beijige,based on conforming to historic cultural demand,spatial demand,and social demand,the paper discusses the application of urban hitoric cultural element in landscape design,and point out that inappropriate application of urban historic culture will lead to human specialty ambiguous and weaken the spatial landscape effect.%从北极阁的文化特质出发,以符合历史文化需要、空间需要、社会需要为前提,讨论城市历史文化元素在景观设计中的运用,指出城市历史文化的不当运用,会使人文特色不明确,削弱景观的空间效果。
