In light of the construction difficulty of high-rise pile cap suspended steel box cofferdam in major pier No. 73 of Xijiang super-large Bridge owning to the influence of deep water, dynamic water and tidal fluctuation, through comparison and selection, then deside to apply the construction method of suspended box cofferdam, the paper describes the design and construction points of the suspended box cofferdam, with a view to accumulate relevant experience. As a result, it has provided certain guidance for similar engineering.%针对西江特大桥73号主墩受深水、动水及涨落潮影响高桩承台钢吊箱施工难题，通过比选采用吊箱围堰法施工，详细阐述了吊箱围堰设计与施工要点，以积累相关经验，为类似工程提供指导。
