Large amounts of SO 2 gas will be released when sulfur containing coal is utilized , and it seriously af-fects the ecological environment .Coal desulfurization is an important means of cleaning coal processing and utiliza-tion.The experiments of screening , drifting, measure sulfur in different forms and others are adopted .The sulfur con-tent in different density level before and after high sulfur crushing are analzed in Shanxi province Xunyi mining area . The results show that total sulfur content stay the same after crushing , sulfur in low density decreases and sulfur in high density increases .Analyzing the experiment it can reduce the sulfur of clean coal by using the crush separation process for dense medium coal preparation plant in which pyrite contain in part of the raw coal is higher .%含硫煤炭的综合利用过程中会释放出大量的SO 2气体，对生态环境的影响比较严重，煤炭脱硫是煤炭洁净化加工利用的重要手段之一。本文采用了筛分、浮沉、形态硫测定等试验，对陕西旬邑矿区的高硫煤破碎前后不同密度级硫分含量进行分析，发现破碎后总硫分保持不变，低密度级硫分含量减少，高密度级硫分含量增加。通过试验分析推论，对于部分原煤中含黄铁矿含量较高的重介质选煤厂，采用先破碎后分选的工艺，可以降低精煤中的硫分含量。
