Aiming at the disadvantage of traditional outward staggered arrangement method,puts forward the mining technique of outward staggered arrangement in lower lane and specifically implements in Yueyang coal mine. The results show that outward staggered arrangement improves the coal recovery rate,economical benefit is remarka-ble,it establishes the foundation for sustainable development and safety production for coal mine.%对于厚煤层传统的分层开采方式，在下分层巷道布置时，均把巷道布置在上层巷内侧，即内错布置法。这种布置方式不仅造成大量资源浪费，而且降低了采区回采率。针对传统内错布置法的缺点，岳城煤矿提出了下层巷道外错布置的回采工艺技术，并进行具体实施。结果表明，外错布置提高了煤炭回采率，经济效益显著，为矿井的可持续发展及安全生产奠定了基础。
