In the context of IMO' MARPOL73/78,this paper analyzed the main sources and classification of shipboard waste,and then described the development of waste management system on nuclear submarines from the United State,the United Kingdom,France by studying numerous documents and literatures.It also discussed the future trend of such system.Because of new environmental regulations restricting what can be discharged and where,these western countries,which used to throw all waste over the side,have identified a simple and effective solution of their new design submarines for processing and storing waste onboard respectively.We can draw on the experience of this approach to complying with this law.%以国际海事组织颁布的MARPOL73/78协议为背景,分析船舶废物的主要来源和分类,介绍美国、英国、法国核潜艇上废物管理系统,探讨潜艇废物处理系统未来发展趋势.由于受新环境法规的严格限制,美、英、法三国分别对其新型潜艇进行适当改进设计,由过去直接从核潜艇上排放废物入海转而采取简单有效的方法将其保存在艇上再进行处理.这一处理方法值得我国借鉴.
