From Aristotle＇s theory of justice, auctioning university admission qualification does great harm to the purpose of university; it enables the person without homologous virtue to get the chances to be admitted by the college, which is unjust. Communitarianism would oppose the auction from the perspective that it undermines the common good, while Liberalism approve the auction from the perspective of the collegiate right. Rawls believes that the auction is impartial as long as the differentiating principle can be satisfied.
