基于多片ADV212芯片的图像压缩系统设计

         

摘要

At present,the technology of static image compression coder based on JPEG2000 standard is the occupied technology in satellite communications. The ADV212 chip is a special ASIC which can realize integrally JPEG2000 image compression. To reasonably schedule multiple ADV212 chips to realize jointly teamwork,a new image compression system is proposed and implemented in this paper. For large-scale image in high speed,this system can implement the lossy compres-sion or the lossless compression in real-time. Thus a coding method of high-speed large-capacity satellite image compression is established.%基于JPEG2000标准的静态图像压缩编码器技术是当前应用于卫星通信中的热点技术。 ADV212芯片是一款可以完整实现JPEG2000图像压缩的专用ASIC。文章介绍了一种通过合理调度多片ADV212芯片来实现联合工作的图像压缩系统的设计方法和实现过程,使得系统对高输入数据率的宽幅图像可以进行实时无损或者有损压缩,从而提供了一种高速率大容量卫星图像压缩编码方法。
