混合导光双芯光子晶体光纤及光器件研究

         

摘要

为了研究混合导光双芯PCF(光子晶体光纤)的色散特性和耦合特性,设计了一种基于全内反射和光子带隙效应两种导光机制的混合导光双芯PCF。以耦合模式理论为基础,利用有限元法和平面波展开法分析其有效折射率、耦合长度和色散特性,并对定向耦合器和光波长选择器进行了研究。仿真结果表明,该混合导光双芯 PCF具有大负色散特性和良好的耦合特性。研究成果对双芯PCF的耦合特性、传感特性的理论研究及其相关器件的实际应用具有重要的参考价值。%For the study of the dispersion and coupling characteristics of hybrid dual-core Photonic Crystal Fibers (PCF),we propose a new type of hybrid dual-core PCF based on two light guiding mechanisms:total internal reflection and photonic band-gap effects.On the basis of the coupled-mode theory,we analyze its effective index,coupling length and dispersion characteris-tics by using the finite element method and the plane wave expansion method,and study the directional couplers and optical wavelength selectors.The simulation results show that the proposed PCF has large negative dispersion and fine coupling prop-erties.These results have significant reference values for the theoretical research on the coupling and sensing properties of dual-core PCF and the practical applications of the relevant devices.
