Simulator is an essential tool in nuclear power plant for operator training and it is also critical node in preparing for the plant running. Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Simulator has its own characteristics of its design. The development experience for the subsequent construction of similar power plant simulator has certain reference significance. The design and development process of simulator are described, and the test experience was introduced.
